Cotton Crochet Throw
My latest free crochet pattern is a one-row repeat lapghan size crochet blanket. This cotton crochet throw is cozy, warm, and makes the perfect coverup on those breezy days.
One thing that I love about this blanket is that it’s made using one of my favorite crochet stitches. The reverse blanket stitch is a simple one-stitch repeat that is made using chain, single crochet, and double crochet.
It’s one of those stitches that doesn’t require a lot of thinking, so you could totally watch your favorite show while making this crochet throw. This crochet stitch also works up fast, so you’ll finish this project in no time!
The Perfect Cozy Crochet Blanket For Your Home
I love sprucing up my home by adding different blankets and pillows. I also love snuggling up on the couch with a handmade throw. How about you?
So the idea behind this pattern came from me wanting a blanket that was cozy, warm, and something that would add a pop of color to my home. So when I saw this mustard yellow yarn at my local craft store, I knew that I had to get it.
Once I had the yarn picked out, I grabbed my go-to blanket pattern and started crocheting. Once I finished the base of this pattern, I thought it would be cute to add a crochet puff stitch border. It adds the perfect finishing touch!
I just love how this blanket turned out, so I hope you enjoy making this pattern as well.
The Yarn You’ll Need for This Cotton Crochet Blanket
For this project, I chose to work with Michaels Loops & Thread Crème Cotton yarn. It’s a worsted weight number 4 cotton yarn that is super soft and machine washable.
It also comes in a variety of different colors, so you can totally make a few of these blankets. They would also make wonderful gifts for family and friends.
Some of my favorite colors in this yarn line are Cream, Mustard, and Deep Orchard. What are some of your favorite colors?
Lapghan Size Crochet Throw
I chose to make my blanket a lapghan size, but you can easily adjust the blanket pattern to make it any size you want to. For a smaller blanket, decrease the number of stitches, for a larger blanket, increase the number of stitches.
You also need to take the multiple into account, which is 4. So you can make the blanket however small or big you want it, just make sure to follow the multiple.

Hi there, I hope you're enjoying the pattern. The video tutorial for the white blanket should definitely help with the cozy cotton throw blanket. The same stitch is used, the only difference is the border. But there is a photo tutorial on how to do the border. š
