HOW TO CROCHET A MESH STITCH
Stitches you need to know:
- chain
- double crochet
Chain an even number of stitches. For this tutorial, I will be chaining 20
Row 1: 1 dc in the 6th chain from the hook. This counts as your 1 chain, 1 double crochet, and 1 chain). Then do chain 1, skip first stitch, and 1 double crochet. Repeat this till end of row. Your last stitch should be a double crochet.
Row 2: Chain 4, turn, skip the first stitch, 1 dc in the next stitch, ch 1, and skip a stitch. Repeat this till end of row.
Keep on repeating row 2 till however long you want too. It will create a beautiful mesh stitch design (as shown in the photo). What’s great about this crochet stitch tutorial is that it’s very versatile. If you don’t want to do double crochet, try doing treble crochet.

I hope enjoyed this easy and fast crochet mesh stitch. Let me know in the comments below what you would create using this crochet stitch.
