In need of some ideas of what to do while you’re crocheting or knitting? Well, no worries, I’ve put together a list of some fun audiobooks you can listen to while you stitch away. Some of the books included are short stories, biographies, dramas, and mysteries.
These books also have an emphasis on either crochet or knit, so double the fun! One of my favorites from the list is “Crochet Cauldrons.”
Before we get started, I quickly wanted to mention these easy one-row repeat crochet patterns that are perfect to make when listening to audiobooks.
- Simple Crochet Blanket – One of my all time favorites! This easy mindless pattern works up quickly and can be made with any worsted weight yarn. Plus, it includes a guided video tutorial.
- Cozy Cotton Crochet Throw – This crochet throw is another version of the simple throw, I just switched up the colors and added a fun puff stitch border.
- Modern Striped Baby Blanket – Love the suzette stitch? Then, you’ll love this pattern. Add additional chains to make it a crochet throw.

Things to do While Your Crocheting or Knitting
One of my favorite things to do while I crochet and occasionally knit is listen to audiobooks. I love listening to audiobooks this way because I can focus on my crochet project while listening to a good book.
I usually play fiction books or the occasional informational book, but lately, I’ve been into books that have an influence on crochet or knit. So their fictional books, but fiber crafts play a part in the book. Pretty cool, right?
So I hope you enjoy this audiobook list and let me know if you have any other book suggestions in the comment section. I have a never-ending book list (crochet pattern one too!) and would love to add to it.
Make sure to scroll down to the bottom of this page, where I mention some other things you can do while working away on your crochet project.
